This Morning

I will now walk across the snowy street to the grocery store.  There, I will buy food for my cat and food for my self.  There is a red-doored, brick-built, stain-glass-windowed, church on the way to the grocer.  They will be celebrating (what day is it of the advent?)  I may drop in.

The bare-branch trees are snow-dusty.

My apartment is warm.

Aaaaaand, Ichabad just jumped up in front of the computer.  My cat is hungry, and so am I.

In the Talmud, the rabbis further dictated that a person may not purchase an animal unless he has made provisions to feed it, and a person must feed his animals before he feeds himself (interpreting Deut. 11:15).[where'd I find it?  oh yeah, here]
